Different Types of Tai Chi

The term Tai Chi means 'supreme ultimate fist'. This is one of the most popular forms of self defense that originated in China. However, Tai Chi is not solely regarded as a martial arts form. In fact, due to its characteristic, slow and deliberate motions, Tai Chi is considered to be a form of relaxing meditation in addition to a self defense practice. Nowadays, the many different types of Tai Chi are mainly used as a method of providing relaxation therapy.
